Ever since these mini liquid lipsticks launched on Cult Beauty I had my eyes on them but sadly did miss the launch, after mentioning this to my best friend she surprised me with it for my 22nd birthday along with a few other goodies - love you Rima! I thought I'd do a quick review and show you some swatches against my olive complexion.

The pigmentation on your lips plays a big part on the colour pay off you will get after applying the liquid lipstick, my lips are naturally quite pink with a slightly darker outline. I recommend purchasing a lip scrub (my personal favourite being LUSH - Mint Julips) and giving your lips some serious TLC, this will remove dead skin and bring brighter skin and a smoother surface to apply the product on top of.

Huda released these cute minis late last year, she put together her most loved shades into 4 categories: The Pink Edition, Brown, Nude and Red. I opted for the Brown edition which is so typical of me but the shades that come in this quad were more appealing towards me and what I would make more use of.

The Quad I have comes with:
∙ Trendsetter ∙ Spice Girl  Flirt ∙ Vixen

The formula is amazing; it is much more runnier than some of the other liquid lipsticks I've used in the past therefor two coats of this will give you a full colour pay off. Huda did want to create a liquid lipstick that is less dry and flakey, she definitely has won me over with this as the product leaves a very moisturising finish even after its dried. I have to mention that although this feels super light weight on the lips it does take a while to dry matte which is annoying as you will have to be careful because its prone to smudging.

The only other downside is that it is scented, I personally don't mind the vanilla smell but for those of you that are sensitive it may be a problem. I love that its travel size seeing as I love using small bags for everyday use these mini's are a perfect fit.

The lovely Salma behind Sitara Brushes (also the sister of brand owner Certifeye) was kind enough to send me her brush collection and lashes through the post the other day, I was literally in awe when I opened the package!

These brushes aren't like your typical looking brushes, they add a splash of colour to my collection and look super cute on top of my vanity. The bristles are synthetic, and also aren't as tall as an average make up brush - but they aren't mini, its such a cute travel size length which I need as I'm always on the go and need something that will fit into a small bag.

I used the brush on the right side today to do my powder contour and the bristles were so soft, it blended the product out seamlessly into my skin and my contour was sharp just the way I like it!

T-B: Elara, Aurora, Daisy & Athena
I can't wait to create a look and pair it with these lashes, I've saved Athena for my 22nd Birthday-do which is happening on the 18th of Feb!

Purchase the brushes and lashes here and tell Salma I sent you! Make sure you follow her Instagram/Twitter to catch some discount codes etc.
