To kick start Black Friday weekend I wanted to write a post on 5 of my most recent Beauty Bay purchases to give you an idea of what you could buy, some of the products I've mentioned are currently at a discounted price so grab them whilst you can. Beauty Bay has got to be one of my go-to online beauty stores when I'm looking to treat myself, they have a huge range of brands that is continuously expanding, some of which are pretty hard to find here in the UK.

Make Up Geek Cosmetics
I recently went to an event hosted by Beauty Bay and was given a few of the Make Up Geek eyeshadows to try and ever since I have fallen in love with them. The formula is amazing and one of the best out there right now in my opinion - they blend perfectly, super pigmented and feel so buttery on the lids. They have a huge range of eyeshadows for you to choose from too!

L.A Girl Pro Concealer
This has got to be one of my favourite concealers - it gives high coverage considering how affordable it is and again theres a huge range of shades to choose from. What I love the most is that they can be used to contour your skin too, the formula is super creamy and non-drying. I use the shades: Creamy Beige, Medium and Beautiful Bronze.

Gerard Cosmetics Hydra Matte
Most of the time I am wearing the liquid lipstick in '1995' or 'Everything Nice' they're my go to liquid lipsticks as they are super long lasting on my lips. One layer gives me a full opaque finish on the lips, again Gerard Cosmetics is always releasing new shades for you to pick from. Currently I own 1995, Everything Nice, Boss Lady, Iced Mocha and Cher.

Morphe 9N Blush Palette - currently out of stock
I purchased this very recently and have not stopped using it, the shades are really pigmented and the pan is a pretty decent size so these blushes will last you a long time. The colours compliment all skin tones as they are more muted and suitable for everyday subtle make up, if you are MUA this is something I would recommend having in your kit.

Milani Cosmetics 2 in 1 Foundation
I have a full review on my blog that you can read here.

I will write blogposts on my Beauty Bay favourites more often when I've purchased new products and tested them out but until then hope you all enjoyed reading this quick post - and happy black friday weekend shopping my loves!

Beauty Bay Favourites | #1

It's about time I talk you all through my morning and evening skincare routine, its all pretty straight forward and most of the products I've used are affordable and effective, they all can be found in your local boots/superdrugs. Be aware, theres going to be a lot of 'I love this' during this post.

My skin is dry/normal therefor the products I'll be using are more catered towards that skin type. I do suffer with pretty dry de-hydrated skin and it gets worse during this time of the year especially, I get oily in my t-zone only when I've had my make up on for a few hours. I have experienced having an oily skin type and my skincare at that time was completely different to what it is now.
P.S remember I am no skin expert and what works for me may not work for you, sometimes you've got to try a few products before finding the perfect ones even if it means breaking out - you won't know until you try it and see what works best for your skin type.

Day-time Skincare:
My day time skincare is very simple, if anything I barely do much to it just because I'm always rushing off to work therefor my evening skincare is much more full on. When I wake up in the morning I first like to cleanse my skin with this Boots Glycerin & Rosewater Toner, I stumbled across this whilst doing my usual stock up on wipes, cotton pads etc and was intrigued - now a few months later this is my 3rd bottle. This product has made my skin super smooth and unlike some toners I've used in the past this one doesn't strip the natural oils from my skin instead it added a tone of moisture.   If you have dry skin and have steered away from toners because it has dried out the skin in the past I highly recommend trying this, its completely changed my skin for the better.

After letting the toner sink into my skin I then apply the Nip & Fab Dragon's Blood Serum as a moisturiser - I love this because it makes my skin look and feel super plump. The product takes almost no time to set into the skin and is ready for make up to go on top of, it doesn't feel sticky nor does it make my make up look patchy. I'm looking to try more products from Nip and Fab if you have any recommendations let me know!

Night-time Skincare:
My evening skincare routine consists of more steps just because its the end of the day and I have more time to relax and do it slowly. I first like to cleanse my skin with my holy grail product which is the Garner Oil Infused Cleansing Water - I believe they released this early on this year and I grabbed 2 bottles when it was on offer for £7 at my local superdrugs and I absolutely loved it, I cannot tell you how many bottles I've been through this stuff is truly amazing! If you have oilier skin you may not like the after effect because your skin will have some of the oil residue - I personally don't mind that feeling because I suffer from dry skin and it leaves my skin feeling moisturised.

I do most of my skincare in the shower because I use the Vanity Spin for Perfect Skin to double cleanse, this brush comes with 4 brush heads and I have a coupon code that you can find at the bottom of this post. I highly recommend purchasing one as it has been super effective, my skin feels squeaky clean and thoroughly exfoliated every time I use this brush, I've been pairing it with the Kiehls Ultra Facial Cleanser for a few months now and its been so good to my skin. The ingredients are great and a little goes a long way, this cleanser foams up on the skin once rubbed in - its gentle yet very effective.

I use a scrub on my face 2/3 times a week to remove dead skin, try not to do this too much as you'll strip the natural oils and irritate the skin. I've been using this St. Ive's Apricot Scrub for years now I always see the difference after as my skin is glowing and looking super fresh, I also love the scent, if you don't like scented products you can also get one that is suitable for sensitive skin.

I go ahead and use the Boots Glycerin and Rosewater toner again during the night because its the only toner I know that doesn't make my skin feel dry, I pop it onto a cotton pad and remove any dirt that may be lingering on my skin. After my toner has settled in I pop on my Kiehls Creamy Avocado TreatmentI purchased this after suffering from super dry under eyes a few months ago, it was unbelievably dry and flake, my make up would always look terrible so I invested in this and it has been normal ever since. I haven't suffered from any dryness even during this time of the year so it was definitely something that was a treat to my skin. I use this before putting my make up on too just because then my under eye make up goes on flawlessly!

The last step is to drench my skin in this Sweet Almond Oil, this has been the game changer in my skincare routine, as I mentioned in the beginning I suffer from dry/normal skin but there was a time that my skin was super dry and there was no fixing it until I used this oil. I put it on every night before bed and in the morning my skin looks radiant, feels soft and it looks so clear. My make up always goes on flawlessly courtesy of this product and sometimes if I want my skin to look extra dewy I drop some into my foundation and buff it in it looks amazing. You can purchase this in Holland and Barrett for £7.99 and it will last you ages!

That's all for my current skincare routine, hope it's answered your questions and if anything changes I'll let you all know as I am always trying new products to review for you all.
